Schools around the nation are entrusted with providing a safe place where children can be educated with information deemed necessary to function as a contributing member of society.

Subjects like reading, math, and science are instructed to everyday with the goal of making students well rounded individuals.

There are however areas that schools do not cover and can leave a child left incomplete, but KiDs Beach Club is here to fill the void left by our secularized school system. While it is important to master fundamental concepts like algebra or chemistry, it is also vital to ensure that our children know the love of Jesus during their crucial years of adolescence.

The Importance Of After School Programs

It is no secret that idle hands are the Devil’s play things and this also holds true with the time kids spend after school. Kids with no supervision after school are more likely to engage in illegal activities, joins gangs, drink alcohol, start smoking and start other drugs as well. While all of those things are frightening to parents, but can be avoided with a quality and positive after school program. KiDs Beach Club follows a curriculum instructed by positive and energized role models that engage kids in the Word of God.

KiDs Beach Club achieves this through cultivating a relationship with God and encouraging kids to put into action the character qualities they learn each week. Rather than just giving children something to do for one hour after they get out of school, KiDs Beach Club is helping kids discover new, positive opportunities in “real-life.” Many Beach Club kids help their families find Christ as well, and become more involved with their local church as a result.

Isn’t Religious Instruction In Public Schools Illegal?

The short answer is no. While it has been deemed unconstitutional for religious instruction to be rendered by teachers during school hours through of Separation of Church and State clause, it is perfectly legal for religious instruction to occur after school hours with the adult supervision as well as school administration approval. This may seem like a daunting bureaucratic task, but over 50 schools around the nation are a part of KiDs Beach Club and we are always expanding the KidMin Word with the help of donors, parent volunteers, churches, and school administration.

But What Is KiDs Beach Club Exactly?

KiDs Beach Club is not a Sunday School worship service but instead a fun place where kids can learn about Jesus and scripture through team building activities, music, games, role playing and other ways that youngsters would find engaging with other friends.

KiDs Beach Clubs are targeted to 3rd through 6th graders in “kid centered” clubs that meet after school for one hour one day a week for 24 weeks! The truth and love of God through scripture is incorporated in every meeting of the KiDs Beach Club. This allows for the development of a child’s values, morals, and other laudable traits to be reinforced through the teachings of God’s Word in the Bible!
